African Diasporan of the Week: Beyoncé

This week I choose @beyonce for three reasons:
1. Blue Ivy
2. Sir
3. Rumi

I bet if you asked her what her greatest accomplishments are, she would name her kids, which is pretty much the same thing my Mom says! Her work ethic is amazing, and she continues to build a legacy for her kids. Also, she gave ya'll a bop this year that specifically celebrates the radiance of MY complexion and it forced a lot of buried conversations to be unearthed and addressed.

Whether it's capitalism or something even bigger, as an African-American Woman, Africa is a part of This week I choose @beyonce for three reasons:
