Celebrating International Women's Day with Dr. Arikana Chihombori-Quao, Medical Doctor and Activist

I’m excited to share that for many, International Women’s Day has become more than just a hashtag on social media. It is an eventful day, filled with events curated by both men and women throughout the world. I had the pleasure of attending an International Women’s Day event in New York City.

The Hosts: African Chop House x Hamish Ganga

The Woman of Honor: Dr. Arikana Chihombori-Quao, Medical Doctor and Activist

She is the former African Union Ambassador to the U.S.A. until she was removed from this position on October 7, 2019. Known for her outspoken, eloquent delivery of Pan-African ideas and action, it is believed by the masses that her removal stems from her agenda to unite African Diasporans and orchestrate action within the community so that Africa will take it’s rightful place on the world stage economically and beyond.
